Documentary Work

Audio Production

As a podcast producer, I work to create transportive soundscapes, from the ringing of rock hammers on a petrology field trip to the staccato pulse of a shark-tracking transceiver.

While I love spending time in the field, I relish penning scripts, brainstorming story structure, and sound design.

Film Production – I assist filmmakers with interviews and narrative structure. One of my gifts is to see people and to find beauty there. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I work to help the camera, and the audience see it too, connecting them to characters and storylines on a deeper level.

I also capture audio, B-roll, and photographs for filmmakers. I’ve searched maps for vernal pools and found insects to toss to coax rare fish to rise. It’s fun.

Here are some examples of my work.
