Fact-driven, narrative storytelling
I tell immersive stories about people, the communities we live in, and how we interact with ecosystems, wildlife, and one another.

My work blends rigorous reporting with narrative craft, bringing complex environmental and social issues to life in written articles, documentary film, podcasts, and photographs.
Whether published in national outlets or commissioned by nonprofits, my stories focus on facts without sacrificing the equal truth of real feeling. I want us to see one another and the world we are creating with more open hearts and minds.
Audio & Podcast Production
As a podcast producer, I work to create transportive soundscapes, from the ringing of rock hammers on a petrology field trip to the staccato pulse of a shark-tracking transceiver.
While I love spending time in the field, I relish penning scripts, brainstorming story structure, and sound design.
Here are some examples of my work:

Film Production
I assist filmmakers with interviews and narrative structure, identifying compelling characters and bringing their voices and stories to life through honest conversation and an atmosphere of trust and mutal creation.
One of my strengths is to see people clearly and to find beauty there. I haven’t been disappointed yet. I work to help the camera, and the audience see it too, connecting them to characters and storylines on a deeper level.
I also capture audio, B-roll, and photographs to support film projects. From scouting maps for hidden vernal pools to coaxing rare fish to rise with tossed insects, I bring curiosity and creativity to every shoot.
